Overview

What this service is

News Media Verification & Authority Setup is a documentation and identity service for publishers, production houses, campus media, and organisations that must look like a real news or information entity before they enter a platform review. The goal is verification-readiness: consistent public facts, a usable organisation profile, and a file a reviewer can understand. It is not a promise that Google, Meta, a press-pass office, or any news product will approve you.

Who it is for: teams that already publish (or are about to publish) on a owned website and need the legal name, masthead, contact, ownership and social profiles to match. It is also for brands that were asked for “publisher verification” documents and do not yet have a single pack.

Why it matters: news and publisher programmes are designed to reduce impersonation. They look for a functioning site, identifiable editors or communications contacts, and alignment with trade or company records. Missing About pages, parked domains, or mismatched Facebook names are common reasons a file never gets a fair reading. Fixing those is work. The decision still belongs to the programme.

What is included: mapping of public records; organisation profile setup guidance; documentation structure (legal name, addresses, editorial contacts); a verification-readiness checklist that calls out platform-specific requirements without pretending there is one universal badge; and a public-facing credibility review (what a stranger can verify in five minutes).

What is not included: buying news coverage, fake bylines, or guaranteed inclusion in any news tab, publisher centre, or press credential scheme. If you need reporting work, that is a separate editorial engagement with conflict-of-interest rules.

How the process works: we inventory the website and profiles, draft the gaps, prepare the pack, and hand over a list of items only you or the platform can complete (domain DNS, official forms, in-product buttons). Estimated timeframe for our side is Admin-controlled (default 5–15 working days).

Requirements: a website you control, a registered organisation or a clearly identified publisher, and a person authorised to confirm facts. Pricing is Admin-controlled (default starting from BDT 30,000) and can be switched to a custom label.

Limitations: every news platform writes its own eligibility rules and can change them. Regional programmes differ. We will not claim “news media verified worldwide” or any similar guarantee. Historical Admin records remain if you later mark the service inactive.

Platform policy

Final approval, listing, or verification is decided by the relevant platform under its own policies, eligibility rules and independent review. This engagement is preparation and operational support — not a guaranteed outcome, permanent status, or purchased listing.

FAQ

Common questions

Will you get us verified on a news platform?

We prepare identity and documentation. We do not control, and do not guarantee, approval by any news, publisher or press programme.

Does this include writing news articles about us?

No paid fake news. Independent coverage, if it exists, can be catalogued. Creating misleading “PR as news” is outside this service.

How long does it take?

Our preparation window is set in Admin (default 5–15 working days). Platform review after you submit is separate and not under our control.

Can inactive services still be requested?

Inactive services are hidden on the public site. Historical records stay in Admin.
