Meta Ads Structure That Works for Bangladeshi SMEs

A three-bucket account beats a messy CBO experiment with no naming convention.

Small and mid-sized businesses in Bangladesh often launch Meta Ads with one ad set, five creatives and no naming convention. Optimization then becomes guesswork. This is original media-operations advice from accounts we have managed, reported in Bangladeshi Taka so founders can compare media cost with offline sales.

A cleaner default is three jobs: prospecting (people who do not know you), retargeting (site or social engagers), and retention (customers you can lawfully reach). Complex campaign budget experiments fail when there is not enough conversion data to teach the system. Official Ads Manager behaviour is documented by Meta; we are describing how we staff it for SMEs that do not have an in-house media team.

What we recommend week one

Separate cold audiences from website visitors and engaged Instagram users. Test one variable at a time: the first line of primary text, the first three seconds of video, or the offer itself. Do not change audience, creative and landing page on the same day and then declare the algorithm broken.

Reporting should show spend, cost per lead or purchase, and a note on what changed. Founders who only receive a screenshot of CPM are being entertained, not managed.

Limits

We do not promise a cost-per-lead number in a sales chat. Auction prices move. Creative fatigue is real — see our separate note on measuring it. IMRAN AHMED MOSHIO media retainers include a written weekly log. Email ads@imranahmedmoshio.com.
